About Fichi
Founded in 2023 in Copenhagen, Fichi is dedicated to transforming everyday staples into ethical and sustainable garments. Originally inspired by vintage-style Italian menswear, our product range now encompasses versatile pieces suitable for sleepwear, home wear, and leisurely days out.
The name “Fichi,” meaning “figs” in Italian, underscores our deep-rooted connection to nature and tradition, drawing inspiration from the historic fig leaf—often considered the first garment. Our designs celebrate a spirit of comfort and sustainability, carefully adapted for contemporary living.
The Collection
Each Fichi collection is meticulously crafted using surplus materials sourced from Italian fabric wholesalers and constructed by the esteemed Danish company, Geismars, which was established in 1866. Known for its dedication to quality, Geismars ensures that every piece is not only luxurious but durable. Our collections are released in limited editions based on the availability of these premium, sustainable fabrics.

Production
Geismars excels in creating refined household textiles and extends its craftsmanship to Fichi’s clothing line. Their expertise in producing exquisite bed linens, home garments, and other textile products translates into the superior quality of our apparel.
Sustainability & Innovation
We cannot claim that fashion is the most sustainable idea since the fig leaf covered human private parts, but at Fichi, we are dedicated to minimizing our carbon footprint. We seek to achieve this by choosing to use deadstock sourced locally in Europe and working with Danish brand Geismar utilizing their extra capacity in their European factory. We collaborate closely with their skilled team to find the best sustainable solutions.
We also select the best quality materials that stay beautiful for a long time, and we are focussed on creating classic designs that don't go out of style quickly, allowing you to enjoy them for many years.
